I haven't heard of anything like that, but if it does turn out to be true, you always have the chance to "jumpstart" an antidepressant again with Lithium, buspirone, or pindolol--sometimes this works within 48 to 72 hours, according to the Tips. It worked for me with Lithium and then pindolol.
