I grew up in a small town, and there weren't many options there. You had to drive almost an hour to find a good pdoc. Around here they'll prescribe anything, seriously. They seem to be in it for the money, my old pdoc must have been getting kickbacks from the pharmaceutical companies. He pushed more drugs on me in a months time than I can even count or remember. That's why I don't see him anymore. My new one may turn out to be the same, I haven't decided yet, I've only seen her twice.

I live in Northern Italy, italian Riviera (do you know Portofino, Cinque Terre?). I'm two-three hours drive from France. My tv tunes up french channels (it's very instructive if you're going to learn the french language).
The city in which i live in is infested by pdoc being amotional sadists (the're asking for high fees also, something like 100-200 dollars for a visit).
This city is going to turn in to pure hell in July because of the G8 summit. I'm personally going to leave the city during those days. The city is full of snipers walking on the top of the roofs building, thousand of patrol-wagons, and you're going to need a special pass/badge if you live in the "red zone" (the center of the city, where the summit is going to take place). You need a pass just to go out to food-shop, it's crazy man! It sounds like a science-fiction movie, can't believe it's true.
I just hope nobody is going to get hurt.
