I took Topamax for about 4 months with the hopes of helping my migraines. It didn't help. All it did was make me feel like an idiot - literally! I couldn't think, or even spell simple words for a while. It was horrible! And as far as the weight loss, I only lost about 5 lbs, so it wasn't worth it for me.
