I start the day feeling a little mroe desperate and melancholy than usual, and within a few hours, I have worked myself into a frenzy kind of mixed awful state. Agitated, totally irrational, and suicidal. It's intensely painful-- it feels like I'm about to crack open. Then I wear myself out, cry my eyes out, and calm back down. The next day I'm often exhausted and sort of weepy, but usually I'm mostly fine. Sometimes it happens two days in a row, but not often. It seems to happen a week or so before my period, but there have been a few times when that hasn't been the case.

I have said this before, and it works excellent. That is, when you are in a real "clincher", benzos work *fast*, and REALLY put an end to the feelings of agitation.Try the benzos as add-ons, and I think you will find a likely 80-100 percent difference. Use the powerful short and medium acting ones, in particular Xanax, Lorazepam, or, if you can get them, Lectopam.
If your doctor is *bezo-phobic*, get another, as there are many docs who understand how excellent these drugs are for use with other meds.
