Hi Angel.

If I'm not mistaken, Pfeiffer calls what he does "orthomolecular psychiatry". He's been around for years. I am not one to exclude any treatment alternative from consideration, but I would not place it at the top of my list. I don't think it would do any harm, though. Perhaps you'll find some benefit from balancing electrolytes - magnesium vs calcium. Have you failed to respond to numerous treatments? Is your depression severe and reliably diagnosed?
I really haven't researched Pfeiffer's stuff well enough to call him a quack. You never know!
