Low blood pressure, wellbutrin or lamictal

Posted by JGalt on December 27, 2001, at 21:57:44

Hello everyone,

A friend of mine is on wellbutrin, lamictal, topomax (soon getting off of that, 100mg/day now), klonopin (2mg/day), seroquel, remeron (30mg/day at night), and imitrex (headache med). Probably a few other medicines, but those are the main ones. Today her blood pressure was down to 90/48 and it has been low like this the past few days. She feels like she is going to faint upon standing. The only recent changes were the titration of lamictal to 100mg's 2x/day (up from 50mgs 2x/day) and wellbutrin SR changed from 150mg's to 300mg's. I tend to suspect the WB more because BP changes are listed in the "uncommon side effects" section and because she takes her 1st dose at 8am, and second at noon. But I am wondering if anyone else has any thoughts on this or any experience in this matter.

Thanks in advance,
JGalt
