I weened off Effexor and onto Prozac and it wasn't too bad. I would suggest taking another SSRI concurrently and tapering off very slowly. Give the process about a month. Or do you mean to stop taking meds completely? Why are you stopping the Effexor? For me it was because it was making my heart race and not doing too much for my depression and low energy. Good luck....
