If you are going to spend money on health store supplements, Nature's way Fisoil is a very reputable brand that must meet strict German quality requirements.
I noticed people have complained of a fishy oil reflux from fish pill/Omega 3 supplementation. The Nature's Way Fisoil pills completely avoid this problem because they are enteric coated & not absorbed until they reach the small intestine (which supposedly results in superior absorption & lower effective dosages). Also, they have no odor which is good because I hate fish & never eat it. I have noticed no side effects except for some slight nausea, but that is alleviated by drinking a full glass of ice water. As with most supplements & amino acids it is often impossible to tell if they are working or not, but the research says that Fisoil/Omega 3 Fatty acid supplementation is not only good for bipolar & unipolar depression but also good for you health (cardiovascular).
