Ross, over what period of time did you call your new doctor? Was it possible that something was up, preventing her from receiving your calls or in responding to them? I don't want you to think I'm judging your choices, but there may have been sound reasons she couldn't get back to you.
I had two friends who were bipolar & was familiar with how they'd feel from time to time. Just try your best to be patient with whatever doctor or plan you do decide on. A good doctor will understand your situation & be forgiving. I know that patience can seem to be so difficult to practice at times. And time is relative to each person. Tell someone experiencing an earthquake that it doesn't last long & see their reaction. Even if it's only 90 seconds, it feels like an eternity.
Whatever you choose - stick with it for a fair trial & then add a couple weeks extra, just to be sure.
