Im pretty sure I had stopped taking all other AD a couple days before hand (Serzone clears the system in 24hr.) "Restless leg" is given as an "uncommon" side efect in the mongraph, and maybe they've got akathisia in there by now.
My main A/Ds right now are Wellbutrin and Serzone. I'm taking a little Valium (10 mg. total) during the day, and Imovane (Zopiclone) 15mg at bedtime. But often I'm so hyper in the late evening that I forget to (or don't want to) take my sleeping pills.
Since Serzone has pooped out for me to quite an extent, and it interacts somewhat badly with the Wellbutrin for me, I would like to give Remeron another try, but only if there were an effective drug to counter the akathisia.
I am also looking at Venlafaxine, Seroquel and bipolar stabilizers; my Dr has suggetsed Effexor as the next thing to try.
