I've tried most atypicals and the ones like Latuda give me shocks of rage and triggers with a tendency to impulsive screaming at minor provocation.
I've stopped Abilify, and right now only taking Amisulpride 100 and valproate er 1g. i'm clueless what to do if rage comes back, ive seen 20 doctors, all they do is olanzapine doesn't work. risperdal worked at low doseyears bac monotherapy but now just increases irritability. any high dose neuroleptic increases brain sensitivity to stimuli and irritates agitates.SLS recommended trileptal or tegretol but they make me pseudopsychotic in the sense of making my thoughts grouchy, and become like a psychopath and they dont work for my symptoms.
increasing amisulpride would only serve to give me weeping depression and extreme catatonic like behaviour with sentimental withdrawal from the world.
so those are all the problems.
gabapentin skyrockets bp, so does escitalopram which incidentally helps irritability but dangerous because of bp rise for some reason.
lamotrigine permanent drug-resistant insomnia though does stabilize a little if added. lithium no go.
i might just wait out the solian 100 and valproate who knows it might work but i feel a little weird, depressed headache and no irritability atm but if it comes no idea where to go. i want a doctor who can help but their idea is destructive rage is inherently psychotic even in absence of psychotic sx so you need antipsychotic maybe they are right except if antipsychotic would help, abilify helped socially though still had bouts of anger sometimes but i can't sacrifice my moral integrity when it gives me compulsive problems.
