I was referring to a phenomenon where people who presumably have contempt for reality television vote for the singer they think the producers would least like to win. Websites like "Vote for the Worst" would be an example. If enough people were upset with the point system here, they might vote for posts that they think you would find most unsupportive and withhold votes for post they actually viewed as supportive.
I have to admit that I'd be curious about how people would vote posts on this topic. Regarding your suggestion of a point system, would a post critical of this plan be viewed as supportive of the community or unsupportive?
