difference between flax oil and fish oil?

Posted by Taralyn on February 24, 2004, at 20:45:13

I am very confused about what is the difference between fish oil and flaxseed oil.

I currently take an essential fatty acid combo that contains:

920mg Omega 3 fatty acid
460mg Omega 6 fatty acid
400mg Omega 9 fatty acid

and mainly consists of flax, sunflower, sesame, and evening primrose oil

Does fish oil contain something different than this? I am trying to figure out if I need to switch.

Thanks, Taralyn
