Not necessarily, chocolate also contains compounds that inhibit the metabolism of anandamide. A study (I cannot find right now) showed that anandamide binding was insignificant with milk chocolate but present with dark chocolate.

the first study also found that chocolate also contains n-acylethanolamines which may preserve the brain's natural anandamine, thereby extending any uplifting effects from the chocolate's anandamide.

I buy a bar of bakers chocolate and then eat it when going for a run. I had a single puff of marajuanna the other night, and I said to myself, this is a similar feeling. Things go very bright, and my vision became very crisp. The bright vision effect doesn't happen till 30+ minuates jogging.There are of course many other factors at play.
