Sunlight and sleep - HELP

Posted by satsumas on September 26, 2008, at 13:27:12

Hi, i have a question. I'm having a terrible time sleeping, waking up in the middle of the night consistently, or eary morning awakening. I do take Lunesta 3mg for sleep and occasionally trazodone, although it is technically contraindicated with my Parnate, which is the primary cause of the spotty sleep.

However, I also know that sunlight at certain times can help normalize circadian rhythms and promote positive sleep. But my question is, at what times of the day? Just like taking melatonin, I have heard that timing really matters. Can anyone help? When should i get my half hour of sunlight?
