Heart aches for my son

Posted by sal0805 on October 22, 2005, at 6:04:37

He has beautiful blue eyes and the most adorable face and I have been told so many times that he is going to break some hearts. He really is a good looking kid and part of his good looks are his ears that stick out a little.

2 nights ago I saw some white stuff behind his ears and on getting a closer look, saw that he had tried to stick his ears back with chewing gum. A kid at school had teased him.

I didn't make too much of a fuss out of it so as not to embarrass him but I had to leave the room quickly because I couldn't hold back the tears.

And I really feel sad that he would do something like that. If it hurt me, what must the poor child be feeling?
