making lists: a sense of accomplishment

Posted by elanor roosevelt on July 23, 2006, at 11:46:50

Making lists is a great approach.

I like to start each day with a list I write the night before. I write a list that includes everything I would like to accomplish. I keep it manageable. Lately I have been including at least 2 social phone calls and a reminder to listen to at least one beautiful piece of music.
I am going through a rough time with believeing in myself right now. The lists help. And yes, I do like to check things off as I go along.

Some people prefer to sit at the end of the day and list their accomplishments.

Also, those pale pink light bulbs -- they are expensive but work well. You get out of the shower in the morning and think hey -- I look pretty good.
