I'm still not clear on what you're describing.
> sodium or postassium....
Caustic soda (lye) and caustic potash, respectively. You wouldn't be drinking those, dude.
> i used a plastic funnel to put it into another bottle and it started disolving the plastic...it appears to be in solution, like very small particles, but they don't precipiate out in the fridge anyway.....
Put what, exactly, into the bottle? You said something about a GABA derivative? I still don't know what your solution is composed of. What is in it, other than water?
> it doesn't seem acidic to the taste buds, so i am assuming it is alkaline....
If you can put it in your mouth then it can't be substantially alkaline. Taste buds are not a good indicator of acidity or alkalinity. Chemical burns are, though. Ouch!

> thanks a lotI'm still not sure what you're describing, or why you think it has anything to do with alkalinity. There are poorly soluble hydroxides, like e.g. magnesium (milk of magnesia), or aluminum (the other component in maalox, which is a contraction of (MA)gnesium (AL)uminum hydr(OX)ide).
