Can Deplin hurt you if you don't need folic acid?

Maybe some with advanced knowledge will be patient with my slow brain but if not deficient in folic acid will deplin hurt your brain or body? As it crosses the blood brain barrier what could possible damage if any be? Or would it do nothing? Thanks for bearing with me Phillipa
