To be honest with you, I think it's a metabolic thing and not an appetite thing. I have not really looked into it. Topamax might help, but it seems to work for awhile and no longer. I guess there is a sort of plateau. Again, I don't think the Topamax weight loss is completely due to appetite suppression. I don't know if it is worth the risk of developing kidney stones. You must keep yourself well hydrated if you do take it.
