hi i'm a newbie

Hi folks,
I am a newbie and i thought i would introduce myself.
I have a couple of reasons for joining:Firstly i am starting a degree in Psychology next month.Secondly, and truly unrelated to the first reason,my partner/soulmate is taking Efexor(velafaxen)due to trauma she suffered as a child and as an adult.
My personal opinion is that Efexor has given a quality of life to us that we did not have before and that the side affects (weight gain)are a minor inconvenience as it has allowed my soulmate to deal with the issues she had/has.
