Lexapro

I've been taking lexapro for only about a month and a half and now i have started to taper off it because i don't think my doctor knows what she's doing! i started taking half of 10mg for only 3 days. today i only took about a quarter of that because i want to hurry up and be done with this medicine. i just hope i don't get any of the horrible withdrawal symptoms i have heard about. Does anybody know how long you have to be on lexapro to experience any withdrawal symptoms?
