ADD

Posted by logan on March 11, 2005, at 16:58:22

I'm looking for support/help re adult ADD. I was diagnosed just over a year ago, despite a life time (I'm 50 yr. old) of symptoms that could have earned me the "adult ADD poster child" award. All of the things that provided sufficient structure through my adult years (marriage, job, social circle) fell apart over the past 3 years. I am barely coping. (I've been through over half of my retirement funds and I'm behind on my mortgage. I'll be using the rest of the IRA to keep my condo.) I'm taking prozac and adderall, which helps, of course. What I really need is structure. I'm hoping to get advice regarding how to establish routines and prioritize and, ideally, a "partner" to help me monitor my activities/stay on-task.
