From what I have read so far effexor has an opposite affects of how each person was prior to use. My Dr thought it would be good for ADD, Depression and Social Anxiety Disorder. I've been on these meds for about two years. I asked my dr to take me off the Effexor and put me back on Strattera, he denied my request. (Prior to this I was on Strattera), which seemed to help more with my motivation and getting things done faster than I do now. My dosage is at the max and I'm still depressed, gained about 40lbs, crave sweets,and fast food. I'm on the verge of loosing my job. I'm frustrated and lost, I need some advice and fast. Has anybody experienced high blood pressure with effexor?
