Effexor withdrawal

My doctor has been slowly withdrawing me from effexor.I'm experiencing nausea, vivid dreams, and my head feels very cloudy. I'm told this is normal when coming off antidepressants. I have no clue how long this is going to last. Has anyone else gone through this?
