Hi there again. Gosh, I like posting on this board. Well, Bipolar I is the "classic" so to speak version of Bipolar disorder, or manic depression. It has the mania and depression. Bipolar II has hypomania instead of mania; I guess hypomania is a little less severe than mania. So instead of the manic spending sprees, sexual indiscretions, etc., hypomania is more like just feeling euphoric, rapid speech, maybe feeling heightened sexuality, starting many projects, etc. I've been diagnosed as bipolar II cuz the doctors thought I had some "highs" but not mania like spending sprees, etc. So I guess bipolar II is a little less severe than bipolar I.
> What exactly is bipolar II, bipolar I, etc? I've never heard those terms.
