a stroke of brilliance...

Posted by alexandra_k on July 2, 2020, at 2:40:28

an article i read, recently.

it was something to do with military operations.

in the context of (i think from memory) largely US initiative.

the idea was that some countries were supported with a 'lift and sustain strategy'.

that is to say, developing countries.

in other words, a few military personale from developing nations were 'lifted and sustained' to be present in and help with the military strategy.

and other countries... 'pay to play' was the term.

apparently NZ military personale on these missions... had an awful lot of free lunches (that were not invoiced)... while the 'played at' various missions (including breaking into Indian and Iranian embassies to steal paper code-book stuffs)...

In violation of NZ laws...

In violation of princples of democracy.

Because, y'know (guffaw) *why wouldn't you if you thought you could get away with it*

booh wah pressure of contributing to 5 eyes...

No understanding of the laws of NZ.
No understanding of principles of democracy.

What ya gonna do???
