Yes, I guess I am always more than a little wary of such slick, packaged, cure-all type approaches. I am suspicious also of programs that ask, "Are you ready to be happy?" I may be wrong, and certainly some of the references mentioned on the site might indicate otherwise, but that kind of sales hook sounds to me, personally, too much like the hooks used by EST, Mindspring, The Forum, and other sales-based self-improvment groups, where strong peer pressure is used and part of the way to maintain ones "happiness" is fullfiling the requirement to be part of a pyramid-like sales enterprise.

But this is just me and my very suspicious way of looking at things. Like I said, I don't think the other groups I mentioned would get the endorsement of someone representing Columbia University Medical School. Still, if someone really did want to check it out, I would read the fine print very carefully, check out the references, etc. But mostly, I don't think it is worth the time, money or effort.

Not that it couldn't have some positive things to offer. But in the scheme of things, is it realistic that it will be worth the expense? I feel it is doubtful. JMHO.
