I had a friend who for years, just considered herself overanxious and unmotivated. Her doctor diagnosed her with Adult ADD a few months ago. I agree, that getting an accurate diagnosis can be difficult; especially when nowadays, almost half the kids in the class are being given Ritalin if they display any bit of distraction at all. Although, I read a study somewhere stating how almost all adults diagnosed with Adult ADD exhibited symptoms as children. Anyway, good luck!
