severing relationship

Posted by zenn4 on December 12, 2003, at 8:30:52

I hope someone can give me some advice or support because I am going out of my mind. Because this is anonymous, I have taken the chance to relate some of it here. I got out of a lengthy in patient program during the summer, in which my therapist of five years just decided she could no longer work with me. Then my pdoc took over. But unfortunately, we have "fallen in love". So I had to be the bad guy, which angers me, and sever this relationship. I have to know find a decent pdoc. I just want to forget medication altogether. Don't even mention starting therapy, it is pointless. It seems like I just keep getting the bad apples. I am not blaming her for the whole love thing, I understand it just happened. But I am a little mad that I have to find someone on my own - she doesn't know anyone decent. And she thinks I should still be in some kind of therapy. But, I have had terrible luck with therapy and therapists. I am in such a quandry. Please help.
