Hi Karen,
I told my therapist about what I found about him on the internet and he was surprised too.. and then he asked me how much you can find out about a person and what are the different ways of searching etc. He was not upset at all as he agreed that whatever you put on the internet is public knowledge and anybody is free to look it up. So maybe you can think of your telling your therapist as a favor you did for him - to protect himself from future stalkers.
