Ok, I'm not sure this is the right board for this question. But does anyone have scars from past or current self injury? Have you been with anyone since then and how have you explained them? When your therapist asks about sex, do you mention how your scars might be inhibiting your sex life? I guess it's relevant, but I'm too embarrassed to bring it up. Has your pdoc ever prescribed medication for scars? Or do you have to see a dermatologist or other specialist for that? Do you have to show the scars? What if they're in a ... should we say, not so accessible place? Any experiences would be much appreciated.
