Stebby,
One other thing, I have never been attached to any of my therapists. There was one I had along the way that I really liked and who I believe I might have worked really well with, but I'm good at respecting boundaries. I think I've always been aware that the nature of a relationship of a therapist is a fee based swinging door dependent on what he or she thinks your problems are. The last therapist I saw told me I didn't need a therapist, but just needed a good friend that I could talk to. He said that I was the most well functioning client that he's had and that I was pretty much wasting my money.I take a lot of practical approaches though to trying to maintain good mental health, daily journaling, walking, yoga, music and lately resting!
All the best,
starlight
