Don't shoot! One more EMDR question

Posted by partlycloudy on August 31, 2004, at 15:06:33

Am I right in thinking that EMDR treatment is a "finite" modality? You present with whatever problem it is, it's treated in x number of sessions, and you're done?

And you go on with your life?? I know that my "bad" days aren't as bad as they were, and they come to an end quickly, without an effort on my part. All the issues from the past I presented with have been processed and their charges are diffused, if not gone altogether.

Thanks for any positive, constructive input!!
