Really. Speaking from experience. I quit a half dozen times at least in the first five years of therapy and while he generally asked me to come in for a final session, he never called if I didn't call first. Now if I didn't show up and gave him no explanation, he would call to make sure I wasn't ill or something. But if I told him I was quitting and didn't come in, he wouldn't call unless I called him.
Believe you me, I'm capable of being an hysteria champ.
