I like nature scenes for the walls, it gives you some place to look if you don't want to look out the window. Also, put a clock that is easy to read in clear view. I like the idea of plants. Put pillows on your couch! My therapist has a cloth hanging on his wall and I think it is really beautiful.

My son's therapist has a little fountain. I hate it, it makes me have to pee. My kid loves it. :) He also has a sign that says, "it is absolutely OK to put your feet on the couch and drinks on the the table. If you bring chocolate you must share. " I think it gives a clear message to the kids to make themselves at home.

What fun! I have lots of toys in my office...
