I think your email to her was just perfect... Firm, yet not accusing, and clearly stating your wishes. She has defied your requests in the past, and I really hope she does not now.
I suspect that although you are in shock now, as time passes you may begin to feel very proud of yourself for acting in your own best interest. Please trust that you really do know and sense what is best for yourself even though it is scary! It will get easier.
