My t and I have been discussing this stuff on and off, for 2 years! He said if I am in pain, he is also (of course, to a different degree). Last week was "you want me to want you!" Almost choked and fell off the couch. It was in response to me talking about my feelings for him, but It made me feel so exposed and vuleranable.
He told me that I was 'practicing love and authenticity with him." I think he is the most amazing t on the planet; can't get anything past him; incredibly empathic, sensitive, which makes it HARD for me; in trying to hide stuff! LOL
