Hi,
It is understandable that you feel uneasy mentioning the book to her. Perhaps you can tell her that you sometimes want to read parts of it but feel uneasy asking her about it. Maybe she can tell you if she will have the time to read it in the near future. If not, you can always return it to her when she does have time.
