My T and I were just talking about this yesterday. He said (and has said many times before) that T's often do not process termination with clients because they are avoiding their own feelings about it. There's much less literature on the subject as well. And then he said that termination was "sucky". "Sucky on both sides". He's right. And it meant a lot to me to hear that "both sides" part.

I would hate to feel ripped away from therapy without dealing with the ending itself regardless of whether I felt ready to end. I'm sorry that happened to you and I hate that it happens to anyone. :(
