Thanks for sharing. I'm not a religious person, but I think there is something there that transcends religion. The thing is, that we ALL have the capability to descend into darkness, given the right circumstances. To give ourselves permission to "be released" is to acknowledge that we don't have full, complete control over our minds or our circumstances. One of my biggest cognitive illusions is that "I'm in CONTROL". That I can master any situation, etc. It's a crock of sh*t. Sometimes we just have to relenquish our illusion of control and have faith. Faith in therapy, faith in meds, faith in our social support people, faith in the goodness of strangers, faith in our own subconscious to guide and direct us towards a healing place.Thank you for sharing, muffled. This is a powerful prayer.
