A teensy bit better

Posted by Partlycloudy on December 13, 2008, at 12:11:58

A little bit of ground gained with the DH at the therapist, then some lost a few days later. Yesterday he announced that he wanted to do a one-day craft and antique fair out of town. Now, I've been sick (on top of being depressed, anxious, and traumatized) - pretty much felt like I had dysentery. I didn't relish making multiple mad dashes to the port-a-let while I was cold and tired and angry and - well, you get the picture.

So I called my T. "Hello? I'd like a Lifeline, please," was my voicemail. She called back and asked if we were doing Cash Cab - no such luck. She commended me for standing my (rather infirm) ground, and to let my DH have this particular experience by himself.

Let's see... it's 1pm est, and he's called 6 times. Has broken 3 things, and has made $10 more than the show cost. (That's a dismal failure in our accounting.) I'm quiet but glad that I stayed home. Make that 7 calls.
So while at home I did some yoga - for relaxation. I made my mozzarella cheese. I put a heat patch on my back, which still hurts, but I've been too sick to go to the doctor.
8 calls. I guess I should stop now. I think he misses me.
