OK UPDATE!

I got a bill for almost $700 from this pdoc that dumped me. I went there for over a year and NEVER got a bill until now. I was outraged, not only because medicaid should have covered it, but because they had the nerve to send me this bill after greatly inconveniencing me. Anywho - hopefully medicaid will pick it up, but if they don't I'm NOT paying it. I can't pay it. Apparently it got screwed up when medicaid split their coverage into 2 seperate plans...which was a pain.

On the upside, I got a referral from my regular doc to see a psychologist. My regular doc thinks he can manage my prescriptions with the help of the psychologist.

I havent called to set up an appointment because I've had so much other stuff on my mind, but I should know in the next week whether or not this new arrangement will work.

I havent been to a psychologist or a therapist in years. I prolly need to go.

I am trying really hard to get my life back together, and I'm starting with my health. I had to force myself to go to the gyno today...I put off my annual visit for a year...heh. I got too old to go to the teen health place I was going to...and the other ob/gyn place I knew of wouldnt take me, so I had to get a referral for that too.

Next comes making an appt with the psychologist, and trying to get a dental referral (its been 3 years since I've been to a dentist - BECAUSE NO ONE TAKES MEDICAID!).

Also, I am getting serious about losing weight. Its now up to 100lbs I need to shed...wow. Thats a staggering number. Never thought I'd see it. I'm suffering several health conditions because of my weight. Its overwhelming. I'm ashamed of me for letting myself get this large. Daily tasks are becoming harder. I have zero energy (possibly the sleep apnea and bipolar contribute to this - a vicious cycle).

Anyone know of any appetite suppressants that ACTUALLY work? Anyone tried Alli?
