Would you be going back to give the person a second chance or just to demand accountability?

I'm not sure what accountability would look like, but it's important to be clear about what you can accomplish and what you really want or need. Having realistic expectations and having some reasonable and constructive goal would be important to me, if I were in such a situation.

Many people give Ts a second chance, even if the T behaved badly. People just behave impulsively or thoughtlessly or unfairly at times; if the relationship is worthwhile, it makes sense to talk it through and get beyond it. But going back to express anger might not be very useful or satisfying--unless it were a means to some resolution and acceptance.
