Thanks for the laugh, Sig. There's a scene in Annie Hall featuring the line "Touch my heart. With your foot." Sounds very much like your workshop. And yes I was afraid there might be an uncomfortable forced sudden intimacy aspect to a workshop.

Dinah, I asked my T about this. She hasn't heard of the particular program, but she said workshops break you down & get a quick result, you come away high, then it generally fades. Pretty much what I'd expect.

But I still may do it, because it's sort of half vacation, half therapy, and I do need a vacation. As vacations go, even if there's an uncomfortable aspect to the workshop part, it might be preferable to going someplace alone, or going to some kind of typical tour group thing.

I did have a pretty good experience with a yoga retreat once. There was just about the right amount of forced mingling for me.
