No-thank God! I read about erotic transference and it sounds torturous!! I couldn't imagine having an intense relationship with someone I share my most intimate thoughts with on a weekly basis, and being sexually turned on by them - but at the same time, am unable to act upon those feelings.
Maybe if you are instantly attracted to this T, the same as you would another person - say a coworker you just met - it is not erotic transference? You alluded to this possibility. Hope it works out for you either way.
I honestly can't say how I'd deal with erotic transference if it ever happened to me. It sounds scary. My instinctual thoughts, however, would be to find a new T to avoid the longings that will last who knows how long.....
