Let me start this by stating I am not judging you or labeling you AND I could be completely wrong in my observations.

I would consider transference IF you and Dr. Bob were in a therapeudic situation but given I don't see that, I believe it's more a fixation. Fixations are usually bore out of an anxiety problem. Something that quells feelings of anxiety because one's attention is overrun by thoughts of the object of the fixation. Anxiety may not be the only reason, some personality types and disorders led themselves to fixations as a coping mechanisms.

I find your keen interest in Dr. Bob interesting and I hope you don't take offense at that or what I've written above. Offense is not intended.
