I'm not exactly *triggered*, but I can barely stand to think about this story. It's so awful. I like to think that we've made some progress on these issues in the past 20 years, and it's incredibly discouraging, infuriating, and sad to see how this has gone/is going down.

Please try to take care of yourself. Is there anything you've tried in the past to successfully distract yourself away from this type of thing, and get more grounded?

Not that I'm suggesting eveyone should ignore these stories. Quite the contrary. But I am worried about you in particular not being in a good place for handling this one.
