Stargazer what you have is more than many you are volunteering did that before nursing and loved it no pressure or stress, a dog is more loving than any human I've ever met, and you are outside moving around and doing things. This to me is what life is about. One doesn't have to prove their worth with a job. Been there done that now have to accept that this part of my life is over and will never be back as now retired.
