A Christmas Tale With a Factual Twist

Posted by Nickengland on December 25, 2005, at 8:38:30

For some people, Christmas is a time where people get together, celebrate with company, drink lots, eat loads and have a generally really good time.

Some people get together and then actually feel more alone - than they would if they really was alone.

Some people really are all alone and seeing as they know that others are with people celebrating etc with familiy and close friends they can never feel more alone at a time like this....and just when they should really be feeling warm and in good sprits, the reverse happens..

I just wanted people to know who are feeling not so good on a day like this and are spending it without the company, the meal, the wine, the great company, the close people/person in their life ~ well, if you're reading this, it may not be much, but you're not alone - you got me for company (sh*t, now you probably feel worse! lol ;)

Oh well on a different note, I know some countires clelebrate Christmas more on Christmas eve...others celebrate (have the dinner open presents etc) to day on Christmas day, in the UK the main day is today - then we have boxing day tomorrow...not sure how many other countries have boxing day? Some countires just dont celebrate christmas...

Anyway, whichever day you're having today and even if its one where you feel really down and alone - you're not the only one, trust me.

Warm regards

Nick
